How to use: Document Scanner

  1. Choose your document photos. On your phone, tap Take photo to use the camera.
  2. Check the four detected corners and drag the dots to the edges of the paper if needed.
  3. Choose a filter (black and white makes the background white and the text clear) and a file format.
  4. Click Create document to download your PDF or images.

Frequently asked questions

How do I take a good photo for scanning?

Place the paper on a smooth, dark surface in good light, without shadows from your hand or phone. Frame the entire document—the tool will correct the tilt and perspective afterward.

Can I combine multiple pages into one PDF?

Yes. Select multiple photos (the front and back of an ID card, or several pages of a contract) and arrange them in order. They’ll all become pages in the same PDF, in the order you choose.

Are my document photos uploaded?

No. Cropping, perspective correction, and PDF creation happen on your device. No photos leave your browser—ideal for IDs, driver's licenses, receipts, and contracts.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser: your file is read and processed on your device, and not a single byte is sent over the internet. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?

It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.

Does it work on phones?
