About this tool
Alphabetical sorting follows Portuguese rules: Álvaro comes alongside Ana, not after Z, and numbers within text are compared by value (item 2 comes before item 10). Numerical sorting uses the first number on each line and recognizes formats such as 1.234,56.
Random sorting uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator. Everything happens in your browser—your text is never sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
How does numerical sorting handle lines without numbers?
They move to the end of the list and are sorted alphabetically.
Do accents affect alphabetical order?
No. We use Portuguese sorting rules, which treat "É" like "E" and "Ç" like "C".
Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?
It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The site works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, and Linux—no installation needed.
