About this tool

Ways to use this tool

  • A receipt in a bank statement: extract just the page with the transaction to send to HR or your accountant.
  • A chapter from a workbook or book to print or study on your phone.
  • Signed pages from a contract when the recipient only needs the signature page.
  • A monthly pay stub from a yearly file.

Extract pages or split a PDF?

Extracting creates one file with the pages you choose, even if they aren't consecutive (pages 1, 4, and 9 become one 3-page PDF). Splitting creates multiple files—one per range, every N pages, or one page per file. If you need several separate files, use Split PDF.

Before sharing personal documents, extract only what you need. Fewer pages means less information exposed and a smaller file.

Frequently asked questions

Will the pages stay in the same order?

Yes. The extracted pages stay in the same order as the original document.

Can I change the order of the extracted pages?

Pages stay in the same order as the original document. To change the order, extract them first, then rearrange the new PDF with the Organize PDF tool.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser: your file is read and processed on your device, and not a single byte is sent over the internet. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?

It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The site works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, and Linux—no installation needed.
