About this tool
The timer uses your device’s clock, so it won’t lose time if you switch tabs. The tab title shows the time remaining, and the link button creates a URL with the time and name already filled in—useful for teachers and presentations.

Frequently asked questions
Will the alarm sound when the tab is in the background?
Yes, the sound plays even when you’re on another tab. If you allow notifications, you’ll also see a system alert. On your phone, keep the screen on: your device may pause pages when the screen is locked.
Can I use it as a test or presentation timer?
Yes. Use full screen to show the time on a projector, and add a name to identify the activity (e.g., “Math test”).
Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?
It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The site works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, and Linux—no installation needed.
