About this tool

When you scan an open book, each image shows two pages side by side. Splitting each image in half restores the natural reading order, one page at a time—making it easier to read on your phone, print, or run OCR.

Frequently asked questions

Will this affect the scan quality?

No. Each half uses the original page with a smaller visible area—nothing is recompressed, and the file size barely changes.

What if I don't want to split the cover?

Enter only the inside pages in the page field (e.g., 2-30). The other pages will remain whole.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser: your file is read and processed on your device, and not a single byte is sent over the internet. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?

It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The site works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, and Linux—no installation needed.
