JSON to CSV

Convert JSON arrays to CSV for Excel or Google Sheets, with nested objects flattened.

Processed on your device. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

How to use: JSON to CSV

  1. Paste JSON (an array of objects) or open a .json file.
  2. Choose a delimiter: semicolon for Excel in some regions, or comma for other systems.
  3. Check the table preview, then download the .csv file.

About this tool

Each object becomes a row, and each key becomes a column. Keys found in only some objects leave empty cells in the other rows. With flattening enabled, {"address": {"city": "Recife"}} becomes the address.city column. Arrays are written as JSON inside the cell.

The downloaded file includes a UTF-8 BOM so Excel displays special characters correctly. Everything happens in your browser—your text is never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Excel put everything in one column?

Excel uses different delimiters depending on your regional settings. If everything appears in one column, try choosing “Semicolon” before downloading.

What JSON formats are supported?

An array of objects (the most common format), an array of arrays, a single object, or an object containing an array of objects, such as {"data": [...]}.

Is it really free? Is there a daily limit?

It's free with no daily limits. Processing happens on your device, so there's no per-use cost and no need to limit you.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The site works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, and Linux—no installation needed.
